Hey everybody, this is Danny Clark. I have no idea how many of us keep up with this blog, but I'm curious to see what anyone has to say about my progress for our poses assignment. Pretty much I'm going for a guy changing positions at his desk. I'm trying to do something a little more toned down and subtle. I also cut out some of the extra crap I had from last week, trying to streamline the motion to what is necessary to get the story point across. Hit me up with comments and thanks for helping me out! See you all in class on Wednesday.
FYI you can add a frame counter in maya's HUD. Go to Display -> Heads Up Display -> Current Frame. It's not as big as the AfterEffects timecode, but it saves time.
ReplyDeleteI also think the end position's right elbow could be moved up a bit. Somehow feels a bit too drastic to me, but otherwise it looks pretty good.
I think at the beginning, when your hand clicks the mouse, you body( the spine) supposes to move a little bit. Every part of the human body is connecting each other. Even a small movement could cause following move from others. So you may want to move your spine & shoulder a little bit to follow the hand's movement. The last pose, the position of the right elbow looks uncomfortable maybe. I think the elbow cannot go that in. However, please check the reference, maybe i am wrong. Other parts look good. Good job!
