Animating to music - examples

I really admire how Warner Brother Cartoons showcased amazing humor with just a few strong keyposes. Here are two examples I found (in context with the animating-to-music assignment).

First clip is from 'Long-Haired Hare' - I love how the tiny movements in Bugs' fingers go with/direct the music. Second clip is from 'Rabbit of Seville' - there's no dancing, but there's still is so much rhythm and flow in Bugs' actions!

Rabbit of Seville was what I was thinking of in designing this exercise :)

  2. also, don't underestimate how powerful the breakdowns are! They make that fast pose to pose switching work!

  3. Ha ha ha, I loved both the animations. As you said the first one really showed how we can give so much character with just few gestures. Thanks.
