Don't add or remove props..we're basically making a video with lots of jump cuts and letting the music provide the continuity. Your character just hast to respond to the music...he can dance like Gene Kelly in Singing in the Rain...he can stand in place snapping his fingers..he can scat to the beat...he can do parkour off the furniture...as long as it plays off the music.
