Hey guys. Here is a run cycle I've been working on, I was hoping to maybe get some feedback on it before class. I feel like maybe the head is a bit stiff. I'm keeping it mostly realistic.

  1. Thanks for the submission. The pacing looks pretty good but the hips don't look like they are going up and down enough. For a run it works but your run looks a little more "hoppy" by the weight of the feet. Also remember the pendulum motion when doing the torso. There will always be a C-curve compression and an S-curve stretch and the torso will "pendulum to that movement." It isn't just the head that is stiff. It is the whole torso. I liked how you offset the pace to almost make it look like a limp. It gives it more personality.

  2. right now, the feet hit the ground, slow down then speed up. for cycles, when feet are on the ground, they move at a constant rate. they should accellerate when they kick off. Also, the pelvis is pretty low and even. watch the breakdowns on the passing poses of the feet back to the plant.
